**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Identify current and future hiring needs in collaboration with department managers.
- Evaluate applicants’ skills, qualifications, and cultural fit through interviews and resume reviews.
- Manage the new hire documentation process and support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Stay informed on employment legislation and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies.
- Provide regular recruitment updates and insights to department managers.
- Assist in creating and maintaining HR documentation such as policies, forms, reports, and job descriptions.
- Meet weekly recruitment activity targets related to outreach and follow-up communications.

**Essential skills and experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management with **3-4 years of hands-on experience** in recruitment processes and HR databases, preferably within the **early childhood education sector** (public and private schools).
- Proven ability to **design and implement effective recruitment strategies**, with a strong track record of meeting hiring quotas and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written **English communication skills**, coupled with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Solid understanding of **employment laws and HR compliance**, and proficiency in using the **Google Workspace** (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
- This is a **full-time, remote position (Chennai only)** with working hours from **7:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST**, requiring a **high level of energy, professionalism, and self-motivation**.
