**Position Overview**:
Boeing Field Services Team is currently looking for **Experienced Back-Shop Mechanic**:
Teamwork in diverse team is important in this position. Must be able to think proactively and work collaboratively with every team member. Must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interface customers’ requirements. Demonstrate strong written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of written and spoken English, and familiar with computer operation. Be self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude and highest ethics.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate skill in analyzing engineering data and drawing. They should be able to undertake maintenance and repair of the equipment installed in the shops.
- Demonstrate capability to provide familiarization training to the IAF technicians. The familiarization training will cover all the equipment fitted in the back-shop over and above the 04 shops mentioned above.
- Will demonstrate capability to co-ordinate with international teams and place demands for defective items.
- Should be familiar with fault isolation of complex machines and undertake repair as necessary.
- Individual will work closely with team members of C17 Field Services. Individual will develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute on-going projects.

**Basic Qualifications** (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree /Diploma / ITI in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering is required as BASIC QUALIFICATION.
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in maintaining sophisticated machines like Lathe machines (especially NC & CNC), industrial X-ray machines, composite repair machines, NDI machines, General engineering machines preferably at Airport / Airlines/MRO/ Military Aviation Establishments.
- Knowledge and experience in handling and maintaining equipment installed on machines in Machine Shop and Lathe machines (NC & CNC machines)
- Demonstrated experience and capability to diagnose the defects through schematic diagrams and technical manuals.
