**Position Overview**
- Boeing Field Services Team at Hindan is currently looking for Experienced Over the Shoulder (OTS) Mechanic
- 17 who will work to support the IAF effort in undertaking maintenance and repair of C-17 aircraft in the flight line. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense India (BDI) business organization.
- Teamwork in various team is important in this position.
- Knowledge of written and spoken English, and familiarity with Microsoft office is required.
- Be a self-starter who is not afraid to proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work. Be able to demonstrate highly innovative and creative problem-solving skills.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate skill in analyzing aircraft system faults and refer to schematic diagram, engineering drawing or other technical data as necessary to isolate the faults. He should be able to guide in undertaking maintenance, repair and modifications when necessary. Should be familiar with ATA codes, fault isolation of various C-17 systems, Technical Orders, Support Equipment and laptops.
- Demonstrate capability to provide familiarization training to the IAF technicians on aircraft systems.
- Demonstrate capability to guide technicians undertake replacement of Engines.
- Will demonstrate capability to co-ordinate with international teams and place demands for defective items.
- Individual will work closely with team members of C17 Field Services Team. Individual will develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute on-going projects.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree is required as BASIC QUALIFICATION
- 8+ years’ experience on aircraft maintenance.

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**
- 3+ years of experience working on maintenance of C-17 class of aircraft maintenance

**Typical Education & Experience**:

- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Diploma) and typically 8 or more years' related work experience
