**Job Summary**:
The Operations Executive is responsible for overseeing the daily transportation operations, ensuring efficient fleet management, timely deliveries, and smooth coordination between drivers, customers, and internal teams. The role involves tracking shipments, maintaining records, and optimizing logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Logistics & Transportation Management**
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate transportation of goods via road and rail.
- Monitor and track vehicle movement to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Assign and manage drivers, ensuring compliance with schedules.
- Handle route planning and optimize transportation costs.

**2. Documentation & Compliance**
- Maintain and update booking records (by road and railway).
- Prepare and verify transport-related documents like LR (Lorry Receipts), e-way bills, and invoices.
- Ensure all transportation activities comply with government regulations and company policies.

**3. Coordination & Communication**
- Act as a point of contact between customers, drivers, and internal teams.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and issues.
- Coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, and clients for smooth operations.

**4. Fleet & Vendor Management**
- Manage vehicle availability and utilization efficiently.
- Handle contracts with transport vendors and negotiate freight rates.
- Maintain transporters' records, agreements, and payment follow-ups.

**5. Data Management & Reporting**
- Maintain daily reports on vehicle movements, diesel consumption, and freight expenses.
- Update and track shipments in ERP/TMS (Transport Management System).
- Submit daily work reports to the Operations Manager.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics/transportation operations.
- Proficiency in ERP/TMS and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of transportation laws and compliance.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in fleet management or working with third-party logistics (3PL).
- Hands-on experience in freight rate negotiation and vendor management.
- Understanding of railway logistics and container operations is a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and track shipments via road and rail.
- Manage drivers, routes, and fleet availability.
- Maintain transport records, e-way bills, and LR documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor fuel usage, freight costs, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations.
- Submit daily reports to management.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
