This individual will bring hands-on experience with VMware, HP server hardware, and Solaris-based systems to manage, optimize, and maintain our server infrastructure. **Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **VMware Virtualization Management**: Administer VMware vSphere and ESXi environments, including configuring, deploying, and managing virtual machines (VMs), clusters, and hosts.
- **HP Server Management**: Manage and maintain HP ProLiant server hardware, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of servers and associated components.
- **Solaris Server Administration**: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Solaris-based servers (Solaris 10/11) to ensure optimal performance, security, and uptime.
- **System Monitoring & Performance Optimization**: Continuously monitor the health and performance of servers across VMware, HP, and Solaris environments. Optimize CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources to ensure high availability and performance.
- **Backup & Disaster Recovery**: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies for virtual and physical servers, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
- **Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution**: Provide second and third-level support for server-related issues, resolve hardware and software failures, and minimize downtime through quick incident resolution.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of server configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Generate regular reports on server health, performance, and security.
- **Automation & Scripting**: Create and maintain scripts (Bash, PowerShell, etc.) for automating administrative tasks such as server provisioning, patching, and maintenance.
- **Collaboration & Support**: Work closely with network engineers, system architects, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support for server infrastructure.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- **Certifications**: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), HP Certified Professional, or Oracle Certified Solaris Administrator are preferred.

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in server administration with VMware vSphere, HP server hardware, and Solaris.
- Strong experience with managing VMware virtual environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
- In-depth knowledge of HP ProLiant server hardware (e.g., iLO, Smart Array).
- Familiarity with Solaris 10/11 installation, configuration, and maintenance.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and best practices, particularly VMware vSphere and ESXi.
- Experience with HP server hardware configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in Solaris administration, including managing services, users, file systems, and network configurations.
- Knowledge of server monitoring tools (e.g., VMware vRealize).
- Familiarity with SAN, NAS, and other storage technologies used in VMware and Solaris environments.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for documentation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach to system optimization and issue resolution.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with scripting languages such as **Python**, **Shell**, or **PowerShell** for automation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
