IT and Automation Intern

**About your Internship**:
As an IT and Automation Intern, you will work closely with our IT and automation team to support and enhance our internal processes. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy individual with a keen interest in automation tools, IT service management, and data analytics. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Power Automate, Atlassian products, Power BI, various other IT systems and APIs.

No team is an island - you will work with many others within your team to help ensure we build the best possible products. Engage in weekly one-to-one sessions with your manager to discuss feedback and set goals for the upcoming week. Gain insights from leaders across the organisation, offering you a holistic view of how a pioneering tech start-up operates from Product to Sales. Showcase your work, learn from experienced team members, and make the most of the opportunities presented during your internship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing and implementing automation solutions using Power Automate to streamline internal processes.
- Contribute to IT service desk project improvements within the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira and Confluence.
- Handle administrative tasks in Atlassian tools, ensuring optimal configuration and usage.
- Support data analytics initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and visualization using Power BI.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of IT fundamentals and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our IT systems.
- Work with APIs to integrate different systems and tools, enhancing functionality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.

**Education & Experience**:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program related to Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT fundamentals, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Familiarity with automation tools, preferably Power Automate, and a willingness to learn.
- Experience with or knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools, such as Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of APIs and how they can be used to integrate different IT systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
