
Screening Assistant

Visit Primary Health Centres / low-income communities within the catchment area of
the PHCs to screen potential participants and assess whether they meet study inclusion criteria.
- Refer participants with mental health issues for additional testing per study protocol.
- Refer women who require additional help due to IPV to appropriate resources as per
protocol.
- Refer eligible and interested participants to the study assessment team for informed consent and baseline interviews.
- Maintain study logs that document contacts with participants.
- Specific tasks assigned based on skills and project needs.
**Key Skills**:
- Experience in talking with patients or research participants about sensitive topics.
- Experience working in a research project is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in Kannada and basic English skills.
- Experience working with domestic violence victims is an advantage.
- Solid time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a team player
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Ability to establish rapport and work effectively with individuals of different ethnicities, socio-economic status, caste, gender, and sexual orientation.
- Graduates in Social Work, Psychology or Social science disciplines with community experience are preferred.
