**Job Title**: Extrusion Operator - Fiber Optic Cable Line
**Location**: Plot no 20, Sector 138, Noida
**Reports to**: Production Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain extrusion machines, including but not limited to the sheathing line, FTTH line, buffering line, simplex/duplex, duct cable, and CACT cable production lines.
- Operate and troubleshoot various types of fiber optic cable manufacturing equipment such as armored cable FRP coating machines.
- Perform regular checks and maintenance on the extruder and sheathing line to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Ensure the quality of the fiber optic cables manufactured aligns with company and industry standards, identifying and resolving defects in the process.
- Monitor the OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) to verify the performance of fiber optic cables during production.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify cable dimensions, strength, and quality parameters.
- Adhere to production schedules while minimizing downtime and optimizing machine efficiency.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Document and report daily production outputs, machine performance, and any issues encountered.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process optimization to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

**Required Skills & Expertise**:

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with extrusion machines, sheathing lines, FTTH lines, buffering lines, and various fiber optic cable types (simplex/duplex, duct cable, CACT cable, armored cables, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery and solve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of fiber optic cable standards and industry requirements.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Minimum of ITI,12+ Diploma / or Graduation in a relevant field

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly line, preferably in the Fiber Optic or Electronics industry.

**Other Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
