Senior Instructional Designer
Tenure - 4 to 8 years
What you will do..
Design, develop and maintain curriculum and courses which are technical in nature for internal employees, external partners and external clients.
Expectations:
- Provide constructive and actionable feedback during Peer reviews.
- Create apt templates for the courses as per requirement, and update the designing and ID guidelines on a regular interval.
- Define the scope of instructional design work and provide apt inputs based on analysis of the target audience requirements.
- Build seamless working relationship with other stakeholders in the organization.
- Monitor the deliverable dates and ensure there is less that 5% delay with proper justification.
- Ensure that feedback received from Peers is less than 10%.
- Ensure that no errors are reported from the field after the Course is published.
- Ensure that the course quality appeals learners to at least complete 70%.
- Propose innovative ways to build content with quality and speed.
- Gather, analyze learner feedback and feedback from the field on various courses.
- Ensure there are no long-running delayed tasks in 1team app.
- Update the courses with the latest enhancements to improve course quality.
- You do research and design of the Course/Program, doing proper research on the scope and the inclusion of the content as per the audience._
- You evaluate the existing curriculum by analysing the course evaluation (feedback) questionnaires and their responses (online programs & workshops), and provide recommendations for update. Your recommendations must be reviewed by Senior EAs._
- You decide on the criteria used to judge the learner's performance and develop assessment instruments._
What you must have....
4+ years of instructional design experience within a corporate setting
- Previous experience in any planning systems
- Expert in technical writing, content development
- Excellent communication skills
- _ Content simplicity, clarity in language, clear objectives, apt images, knowledge checks, apt visualize instructional graphics & animation, attractive & interactive user interface - are part of your finished product._
- Microsoft Office (PPT) / Google Suite
- Basic HTML / Flash / CSS3 Programming
- Adobe Captivate / Storyline Articulate, required
- Premiere / Camtasia, required
- Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign
- Knowledge of course development software / LMS
- Storyboarding & Scriptwriting Skills
