**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive **Accounts & MIS Executive** to join our dynamic team an established leader in the FMCG sector. This role requires someone who is highly organized, has a strong understanding of accounting principles, and is proficient in managing MIS (Management Information System) reports to support strategic decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Management**:

- **Financial Record Maintenance**: Manage day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- **Invoicing & Payments**: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely clearance of accounts.
- **VAT & Tax Compliance**: Ensure timely filing of VAT, GST, and other tax-related returns, and ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
- **Month-End & Year-End Closing**: Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare financial statements for review.
- **Cost Accounting**: Monitor and report on production and distribution costs in line with budgeted targets.

**MIS Reporting**:

- **Data Compilation**: Prepare and maintain various MIS reports related to sales, inventory, production, and financial performance.
- **Variance Analysis**: Analyze discrepancies between actual performance and budgeted or forecasted values, and provide insights to the management.
- **Performance Dashboards**: Design and update performance dashboards for management, reflecting financial health and operational efficiency.
- **Forecasting**: Support in sales forecasting, cash flow forecasting, and other related projections for business planning.
- **Reporting Automation**: Work on streamlining and automating regular reports, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.

**Coordination & Collaboration**:

- **Cross-Functional Support**: Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Production, and Finance to ensure smooth financial operations.
- **Audit Assistance**: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- **Data Integrity**: Ensure data integrity in all reports and accounting entries, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- **Compliance & Internal Controls**: Monitor and enforce internal controls related to finance, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Commerce** (B.Com) or **Accounting**.
- Additional qualifications like **CA Inter/ICWA Inter** or **MBA (Finance)** are preferred.
- **Experience**:

- 5-7 years of experience in accounting, MIS reporting, or finance roles, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in **Tally ERP**, **SAP**, or similar ERP software.
- Advanced knowledge of **MS Excel** (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Knowledge of **GST**, **VAT**, and other indirect tax regulations.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
