**What you’ll be doing**
- Engaging and building rapport quickly with customers and colleagues by listening to and understanding their needs
- Taking ownership of contacts to ensure every customer receives the highest level of customer service at all times
- Ensuring personalisation of the customer journey by presenting appropriate solutions and making sure their needs are at the heart of everything that you do
- Dealing with customer queries in a positive and respectful manner throughout the customer journey
- Recognising appropriate opportunities to add value to the customer and the business through great conversations
- Driving personal performance to achieve individual, team and business KPIs and objectives
- Taking personal ownership for self-development by actively seeking learning opportunities
- Actively supporting any business change and initiatives with pace, supporting continuous improvements to ways of working
- Taking responsibility for actions, ensuring you keep up to date with all communications, processes and procedures
**What you'll need**
- Graduate or undergraduate
- English proficiency both verbal and written
- Relevant experience in travel industry
- Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience dealing with customers in an effective manner in both spoken (voice) and written (web chat) formats
- Experience of answering a high volume of calls within a regulated contact centre environment working for an international (offshore) organisation (Advantageous)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a first-class telephone manner
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service and enthusiastic about developing new skills and personal development ensuring customers continue to use the service
- Competitive “can do” attitude
- Effective team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Computer literacy and ability to speedily navigate various screens and systems effectively with basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
