**Role
- Accountant/Bookkeeper with Xero Expertise**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Bookkeeping and Financial Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero software.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with Australian taxation and superannuation regulations.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other relevant tax returns using Xero Tax.
- Financial Reporting:

- Generate and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Client and Practice Management:

- Utilize Xero Practice Manager to manage client interactions, workflow, and deadlines.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their queries and providing financial advice as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Compliance and Audit:

- Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations and standards.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience, with a focus on Australian regulations.
- Proficiency in Xero, Xero Tax, and Xero Practice Manager.
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with other accounting software and tools.
- Previous experience working in Australian Taxes with Xero Software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
