**Roles and Responsibilities:

Able to prepare cost estimates by analyzing project drawings and specifications.
Develop a working knowledge of the capabilities for aluminum, plastics, gaskets, glazing and
other materials associated with the business.
Determine key variables for project cost.
Responsible for researching to obtain material and labor costs, production times, etc.
Create and submit bids to management for potential projects.
Perform risk analysis.
Ensure timely completion of all estimates.
Maintain all estimation files, records, studies, etc.

**Requirements:

Associate/Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3+ years’ experience as an Estimator or similar position
Must have strong mathematical and 3D visualization skills
Knowledgeable in basic measurement methods
Able to understand and interpret architectural drawings
AutoCAD 2D & 3D a plus (Solid Works/DriveWorks)
AutoCAD fabrication drawings and project drawings are a plus/plus
Keen attention to detail
Able to work under pressure
Ability to plan and prioritize activities
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, displaying strong written and oral communications
Computer literate and working knowledge of MS Office
Extremely proficient in Excel
