Responsible for shift wise inspection of the SMS products as per planning.
- Monitoring shift wise consumables.
- Ensuring smooth flow of activities.
- Timely intimation based on online inspection results of any defective /NCO products generation to operation department for immediate actions.
- Ensuring safe working in the area in the shift.
- Supervise a team of JSW contractors.

Critical Tasks

MANDATORY- KRA’s and Key Activity.

1.To ensure Inspection of all SMS products as per plan for further usage.

2.Ensure safety, House Keeping and 5’S in the section in the shift.

3.To ensure shift wise all relevant instruments, spares in good condition.

4.To monitor and intimate to area I/c QASMS to ensure timely receipt of consumables.

5.Coordinate with the Shift In charges of the maintenance departments for attaining break down of machines to ensure smooth functioning in a shift.

6.Provide inputs and On-the-job training to associates to set up activities in a shift if it requires.

7.Monitor and ensure shift wise a superior safety and housekeeping practices followed at workplace by adoption of 5S practices

Decision making authority (Decisions expected)
- Stoppages of production in a particular strand if NCO products generated and intimation to operation SMS for correction.
- Pre dispatch inspection to ensure correct material dispatch.
