**Job Summary**:
The BIM Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes on construction and design projects. The role involves managing and facilitating the flow of BIM data between project stakeholders, ensuring adherence to project standards, and enhancing collaboration across disciplines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **BIM Coordination**:
Coordinate the development of 3D models with design teams (architectural, structural, MEP) and ensure seamless integration of all disciplines.
- **Clash Detection and Resolution**:
Conduct clash detection using software like Navisworks or Revit to identify and resolve conflicts between different building systems and elements.
- **Model Management**:
Maintain, update, and manage BIM models according to project schedules, ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:
Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and ensure compliance with BIM standards and protocols.
- **Quality Control**:
Ensure all BIM models adhere to company and client standards, including file naming conventions, data integrity, and model coordination.
- **BIM Standards & Implementation**:
Implement and enforce BIM execution plans and ensure that all team members are working within the project’s BIM framework.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
Provide regular reports on the status of BIM coordination efforts, including issues, progress, and resolutions. Maintain proper documentation for future reference.
- **Software Management**:
Manage and troubleshoot BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, etc.), providing guidance and support to project team members.
- **Training and Support**:
Provide training and ongoing support to project teams on BIM processes, standards, and best practices.
- **File Exchange Management**:
Manage model exchanges between project teams and external stakeholders, ensuring compatibility and smooth transitions.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, or related field.
- **Experience**:
Minimum [4] years of experience in a BIM coordination role.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different stakeholders.
