**Job description**:
As a Restaurant Server Steward, you will support the restaurant's front-of-house operations by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the dining area. Your role is essential in creating a positive dining experience for guests through prompt service and attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Setting Up and Clearing Tables**:

- Prepare dining areas before service by setting tables with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments.
- Clear tables promptly after guests finish dining and reset them for the next service.
- **Assisting Servers**:

- Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Refill water glasses and attend to guests' needs promptly and courteously.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**:

- Ensure cleanliness of tables, chairs, and surrounding areas throughout service.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of restrooms and other guest areas.
- **Supporting Service Efficiency**:

- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth flow of service.
- Assist in running food orders and coordinating timing of courses.
- **Stocking and Organization**:

- Assist in stocking service stations with supplies, such as napkins, straws, and condiments.
- Maintain organization of storage areas and ensure items are properly stored.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally and promptly.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Server Steward or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guests' needs.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.

**Education and Certifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Certification in food handling and safety (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus.
