**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Decontamination and Cleaning**:

- Receive soiled surgical instruments, trays, and equipment from different departments.
- Clean and disinfect instruments manually and using mechanical cleaning equipment like ultrasonic washers.
- **Assembly and Packaging**:

- Inspect instruments for functionality and cleanliness.
- Assemble trays and packs according to departmental standards.
- Wrap or package instruments for sterilization.
- **Sterilization**:

- Operate autoclaves (steam sterilizers), ETO sterilizers, plasma sterilizers, and other sterilization equipment.
- Follow sterilization parameters (time, temperature, pressure) accurately.
- **Storage and Distribution**:

- Store sterilized items properly to maintain sterility.
- Issue and distribute sterile supplies and equipment to various departments as per requisition.
- **Quality Control**:

- Monitor and document sterilization records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Perform biological and chemical indicator testing to ensure sterilization effectiveness.
- **Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance of sterilizers and report any malfunctions promptly.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Adhere to hospital infection control policies and CSSD guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

Pay: ₹11,495.35 - ₹22,380.67 per month
