Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments, medical equipment, and supplies.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ETO machines, and ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Ensure proper packaging, labelling, and documentation of sterilized items.
  • Monitor and maintain sterilization parameters and records as per hospital infection control standards.
  • Coordinate with Operation Theatre, ICU, and other departments for timely supply of sterile items.
  • Maintain inventory and stock control of sterile and non-sterile materials.
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
  • Participate in training and audits related to sterilization and infection control practices.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control procedures.
  • Ability to handle and maintain sterilization equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and hygiene.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Record keeping and basic computer knowledge.

Qualification:

  • Diploma / Certificate in CSSD Technology or OT Technician Course.
  • Additional training in Infection Control or Sterilization will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
