Network Administrator

We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated **Network Administrator** to join our dynamic team in **Lonavala**. This role involves independently managing an extensive field network and data centre infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Field Network**:

- Configure, install, and maintain network equipment across a 100km+ deployment area.
- Lead infrastructure projects involving Fortinet firewalls and Belden switches.
- Maintain network health, ensuring efficient cabling and passive components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve field network issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage L2 and L3 switches for optimal network performance.
- Implement and manage VPN tunnels for secure access and connectivity.
- Work with network topologies (STAR, RING) and optical fibre.

**Data Centre Operations**:

- Design, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN concentrators.
- Monitor network performance and plan capacity to ensure smooth data centre operations.
- Manage SNMP protocols for device monitoring.

**Security & Collaboration**:

- Enforce robust network security policies across both field and data centre networks.
- Collaborate with teams to align network solutions with business objectives.

**Network Evolution**:

- Execute network upgrades, enhancements, and migrations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- **Degree**: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- **Experience**: At least 7 years in network administration, with a minimum of 5 years in an individual contributor role.
- **Skills**:

- Expertise in **Belden switches** and **Fortinet firewalls**.
- Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
- Strong understanding of **network security practices**.
- Experience with **100km OFC and core network management**.
- Excellent troubleshooting and network performance skills.
- **Certifications**: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA (preferred).
- **Bonus**: Experience in Smart City and ITMS projects.
