**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the hostel facility, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all residents.
- Enforce hostel rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner, addressing any violations or misconduct appropriately.
- Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment within the hostel, fostering a sense of community and mutual respect among residents.
- Coordinate room assignments, roommate selections, and move-in/move-out procedures for new and returning residents.
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel facilities, including living areas, common spaces, and amenities, to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to resident concerns, requests, and emergencies, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Manage resident conflicts and mediate interpersonal disputes, promoting open communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Organize and oversee recreational and educational activities, events, and programs for residents to promote socialization, personal development, and community engagement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident occupancy, incidents, maintenance requests, and other administrative matters.
- Collaborate with other staff members, including maintenance personnel, security personnel, and administrative staff, to address issues and ensure the smooth operation of the hostel.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., hospitality management, social work, education) preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as residential life, student affairs, or hospitality management, preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a calm and composed demeanor in crisis situations.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to hostel management, safety, and student welfare.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with on-call availability for emergencies.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
