
Planning & Procurement Control Executive

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a Procurement Planning & Control Executive who will take ownership of the complete procurement lifecycle, from strategic planning and demand forecasting to PO execution and delivery control. The role requires close coordination with internal departments, vendors, and logistics teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven procurement operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement Planning**
1.Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, projects, admin) to understand material and service requirements.
2. Create procurement plans based on demand forecasts, project schedules, and consumption patterns.
3.Analyze inventory levels and lead times to plan reorders and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
4.Work with finance to align procurement plans with budgetary constraints.
**Procurement Execution & Control**
1. Issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per the procurement plan and ensure alignment with quality, cost, and delivery standards.
2. Monitor open POs, track deliveries, and resolve delays or mismatches.
3.Maintain procurement trackers and dashboards for visibility and decision-making.
4. Develop and enforce control mechanisms to ensure process compliance and avoid leakages.
**Vendor Management**
1. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and vendors.
2. Ensure vendor performance is regularly assessed (delivery timelines, quality, responsiveness).
3. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules as needed.
**Cost Optimization & Process Improvements**
1.Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
2. Recommend improvements in procurement processes and documentation.
3. Support audits and ensure full documentation and traceability.
**Key Skills & Competencies**
1. Strong understanding of procurement planning, PO processes, and supply chain coordination.
2. Analytical thinking and experience in demand forecasting.
3. Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems and procurement tracking tools.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
5. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
6. Familiarity with compliance, audits, and documentation standards.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or degree
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience preferred
Pay: ₹12,753.65 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
