**ABOUT ASHIYANA**:
Ashiyana works with at-risk youth in Mumbai between the ages **12-24 years**who are either Children in Conflict with the Law (CCL) or Children in Need of Care and Protection (CNCP) as per the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015. These are children and young people who have mostly dropped out of school, lived on the streets, are addicted, have been apprehended, and face multiple traumas and challenges.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The Admin and Accounts Officer will support the organization’s administrative and financial operations. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience who is eager to learn and grow in the non-profit sector. The role involves handling routine office operations and assisting in basic financial tasks.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Administrative Support**
- Assist in day-to-day office management, including maintaining supplies and records.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and travel logistics for the team.
- Help organize and maintain office files and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers as required.

**Accounts Management**
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and expense claims.
- Support monthly account reconciliation and financial record updates.
- Assist in preparing budgets, financial reports, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations, including GST and TDS filings.

**HR and Compliance Support**
- Assist with payroll processing, attendance tracking, and employee records.
- Maintain HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and organizational policies.

**Coordination and Reporting**
- Assist in preparing administrative and financial reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations aligned with program needs.

**QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in administration and accounts, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, etc.).
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 24 per week
