A Placement Officer for an educational institute is responsible for the successful placement of students in appropriate positions within the job market. They must identify and secure job opportunities for students, create career development opportunities, and maintain relationships with employers.

The Placement Officer’s duties and responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing a comprehensive placement strategy for the institute
- Liaising with employers and alumni to identify job opportunities for students
- Developing and maintaining relationships with potential employers
- Establishing internship and apprenticeship programs
- Assisting students in career planning and job search activities
- Assisting with on-campus recruitment activities
- Assisting in the development of student career services and resources
- Providing guidance and advice to students regarding career choices and job search strategies
- Arranging and coordinating career fairs, networking events, and workshops
- Creating and maintaining a database of available job opportunities
- Collecting and analyzing data on student and employer placement trends
- Developing and delivering career guidance and skills training workshops
- Implementing evaluation systems to monitor and improve the placement process
- Representing the institute in various recruitment related events and meetings.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
