**About The Role**

This role will provide support & administration for the Boston Scientific Storage and Backup platforms, including cloud transformation. You will be part of a global team dedicated to Data Protection technologies and will work closely with cross functional IT teams to ensure a positive user experience. This role is part of an on-call rotation for afterhours and weekend coverage.

**Your Responsibilities Include**
- Maintains up to date knowledge on the most recent Storage, Backup and Cloud technologies.
- Monitors storage and SAN infrastructure for availability and reliability. Monitors and reports on processes, uptime, performance, utilization, and capacity of storage and backup infrastructure.
- Implements continuous improvements (upgrades and patches) to ensure storage and backup assets are preventively maintained, running properly and protected from security threats.
- Interacts with users and other IT teams to accommodate requests for storage, backup and Cloud services.
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems of diverse scope and complexity.
- Leads troubleshooting initiatives and resolves infrastructure failures by analyzing issues and implementing corrective actions. Leads root cause analysis and takes measures to address root cause analysis findings.
- Resolve storage incidents in a timely manner, including acceptance of support requests and incidents from other geographies.
- Being able to work independently while using agile methodologies
- Create and maintain all required technical documentation per IT methodology and processes
- Lead project work stream activities, working with internal and external cross-functional groups
- Perform or assist in capacity/performance management, trend and error analysis to determine system changes required
- Adhere to tasks, and deliverables; identify dependencies and resource requirements and change management principles
- Appropriately communicates project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items

**What We're Looking For**
- 7+ years’ experience in Information Technology
- 5 + years’ experience with Dell\EMC Storage and Backup Technologies
- Strong knowledge of Dell\EMC products (VMAX, PMAX, Isilon, xTremIO, PowerStore, Unity, Data Domain) and Druva
- Experience in Brocade switch zoning and troubleshooting
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure (Files, ANF)
- Understanding of AWS (S3, FSxN, FSx, EBS, File Gateway)
- Experience in scripting and automation processes (Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Ansible)
- Experience in reporting
- Strong Storage and Backup troubleshooting experience
- General knowledge of other related disciplines, business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships.
