We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain Linux and Desktop's, upgrade and manage our software, hardware, and networks.

Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

**Qualification** - B. Tech (Computers)/B.E. (Computers)/BCA/MCA/B.Sc. (Computers)

**Certifications** - Redhat / Exposure on Cloud computing Amazon Cloud (AWS), Rackspace & Google Cloud

**Experience Range** - 2 to 5 years

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation and configuration of networked hardware and software components
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls and firewalls
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a System Administrator & Network Administrator
- Managing web and database servers on RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Well versed with apache, nginx, php, MySQL configuration.
- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Must have in depth understanding of scripting (Shell/Perl/Python/Ruby/Bash)
- Understanding of automation & monitoring concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
