**Job Summary**:
Involved in designing, communicating and publishing promotions of Lowe's products or services using various channels and media. The Associate Creative Designer directly assists the Associate Creative Directors, Copywriters and Producers to create advertising layouts. This position is responsible for graphic design and production for print and digital production. They design impactful concepts in the Lowe's brand style with the flexibility to address broad brand messages through to highly promotional offers. The Associate Creative Designer works with the extended design team and the ACD to translate business briefs into impactful design. This requires a great attention to detail, mastery of the tools required for layout and great time management skills. The Designer produces a range of visual options to meet the needs of the business with mínimal supervision from the ACD.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- On a monthly basis, the Designer works with the ACDs, Sr. Designers and Copywriters to design pieces that are within brand standards and fulfill business needs. This work is mostly Tier 2-3 and across all channels.
- Produces visual design treatments for advertising materials including, but not limited to, in-store signage, print, and digital media.
- Versions out design concepts and solutions based on creative briefs and business strategy.
- On a daily basis, the Designer carries a full workload of tactical, production design requests. In addition, the Designer is continuously growing their professional skills with feedback and advice provided by their ACD. The Designer will work autonomously as well as within a team environment. The Designer will work within a flexible process that is ever evolving to meet the business needs while working with, at times, tight deadlines.
- Executes creative assignments as part of a team as well as with other creative studio services.
- Designs to consistently high standards that enhance the Lowe's brand.
- Works within Workfront for job workload management
- Utilizes ProofHQ for trafficking work for review when appropriate.
- Presents design work to ACD for review and approval.
- Applies seasonal style guides and brand standards to their work for Lowe’s digital and print advertising communications.
- Creates design layouts and graphics for Lowe's print and digital vehicles including but not limited to magazines, direct mail, in-store signage, digital display and POP materials.

**Years of Experience**
- 2-5 years

**Required Minimum Qualifications**:

- A graduate with experience in a similar design role.

**Primary Skills (must have)**
- A portfolio that demonstrates photography, typography, and design capabilities
- Demonstrated understanding of design/color applied in layout, design and image composition.
- Experience in Adobe CS including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Typographic and mechanical preparation skill.

**Secondary Skills (desired)**
- Familiarity with Mac interface and OS
- Presentation software.
