**Job Summary**

The Creative Designer directly assists the Associate Creative Directors, Copywriters and Producers to create advertising layouts. This position is responsible for graphic design and production for print and digital production. They design impactful concepts in the Lowe's brand style with the flexibility to address broad brand messages through to highly promotional offers.

This role is expected to be up-to-date on all media channel formats, standards as well as trends. The Designer works with the ACD to translate business briefs into impactful design. This requires a great attention to detail, mastery of the tools required for layout and great time management skills. The Designer produces a range of visual options to meet the needs of the business with mínimal supervision from the ACD.

The Designer works independently on jobs that are within print or digital. Typically, the Designer is designing for, and has high accountability for, jobs that are categorized as Tier 2-3. This requires experience across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and signage.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**Core Responsibilities**:

- Produces visual design treatments for advertising materials including, but not limited to, digital onsite, offsite, social, motion graphics and digital media
- Versions out design concepts and solutions based on creative briefs and business strategy
- On a daily basis, the Designer carries a full workload of tactical, production design requests. In addition, the Designer is continuously growing their professional skills with feedback and advice provided by their CM
- The designer is great at adapting and scaling creatives to different sizes and templates.
- The Designer will work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
- The Designer will work within a flexible process that is ever-evolving to meet the business needs while working with, at times, tight deadlines
- Executes creative assignments as part of a team as well as with other creative studio services
- Designs to consistently high standards that enhance the Lowe's and partnering client brands
- Works within Workfront for job workload management
- Utilizes Workfront Proof for trafficking work for review when appropriate

- 3+ years' experience

**Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)**

**Required Minimum Qualifications**:

- A design degree from a reputed design institute along with a portfolio that demonstrates photography, typography, and design capabilities

**Skill Set Required**

**Primary Skills (must have)**
- A design degree from a reputed design institute along with a portfolio that demonstrates photography, typography, and design capabilities
- Expertise in any of Adobe CS tools including Photoshop, InDesign, Priemere Pro and Illustrator
- FIGMA
- Demonstrated understanding of design/color applied in layout, design and image composition
- Typographic and mechanical preparation skills
- Quality check and design hygiene.
- Good with communication and presentation skillsets
- High energy and passion to learn and execute various design and styles guides

**Secondary Skills (desired)**
- Familiarity with Mac interface and OS
- Presentation softwares.
