**About Us**:
Micrometal Engineering Industries is a precision CNC component manufacturing company focused on delivering high-quality machined parts. We are looking for a **Production Supervisor** to oversee daily shop floor operations, ensure efficiency, and maintain quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Management**:

- Oversee and manage daily CNC/VMC machining operations.
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
- Plan and allocate work to machine operators, setters, and programmers.
- Monitor machine efficiency and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- **Quality Control & Process Improvement**:

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and resolve machining or production issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Work with QC inspectors to ensure finished parts meet customer requirements.
- **Team Management & Supervision**:

- Supervise and guide operators, setters, and other production staff.
- Train employees on machining processes, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure a disciplined work environment.
- **Inventory & Maintenance Oversight**:

- Ensure proper inventory management of raw materials, tools, and consumables.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance of machines.
- Reduce downtime by proactively addressing maintenance and tool wear issues.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure a clean, organized shop floor.
- Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with industry standards.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 2 **years** of experience in CNC/VMC machining, with at least 1 **years** in a supervisory role.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of CNC/VMC machining, tooling, fixtures, and G-code/M-code programming.
- **Leadership Skills**: Ability to manage a team, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth workflow.
- **Problem-Solving**: Experience in troubleshooting machining and quality issues.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Familiarity with precision machining for industries like automotive, aerospace, or heavy machinery is preferred.
- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related field is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
