**Job Summary**:
The **Steward** is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and food service areas. This includes cleaning dishes, utensils, equipment, and ensuring proper waste disposal. The steward supports smooth kitchen operations by providing a clean and organized environment for the culinary and service teams.

**Key Responsibilities**: Cleaning & Maintenance:

- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, ceilings, and work surfaces.
- Ensure waste is collected and disposed of according to hotel/restaurant policy.

Support Duties:

- Assist in organizing and storing food supplies and kitchen inventory.
- Help kitchen and service staff with basic support tasks when required.
- Keep dishwashing and storage areas well-organized and stocked.

Hygiene & Safety:

- Follow all hygiene, health, and safety standards (HACCP or local authority regulations).
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment or maintenance issues immediately.

**Requirements**:

- No formal education required (literacy is an advantage).
- Previous experience in a stewarding or cleaning role preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards and safety practices.
- Physically fit — able to lift heavy items and stand for long hours.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

**Working Conditions**:

- Hot, humid kitchen environment.
- Long hours of standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and kitchen noise.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month

Schedule:
