Staff Enterprise Architect

**Job Description Summary**: In this role you will be a hands-on leader responsible to develop the strategy, implementation of roadmap, solution delivery and process improvement in the assigned technology area on SFDC and CPQ (Configure Price & Quote) platforms. You will provide thought & technological leadership in influencing the strategic direction of developing features and functionalities in SFDC and CPQ space, improving design standards with focus on process improvements. You will lead highly complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge or two or more specialized architecture areas within SFDC, Configure, price & Quoting.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

In this role you will be:

- Hands-on architect for specific programs/projects, leading the development and oversight of future state designs.
- Facilitate change in the use of best practice methods in SFDC, CPQ and CLM areas, leveraging newer functionalities and features to support Product services, modelling and administration, drive digital validation, pricing of the products and quotes and contracts
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products
- Engage frequently with the scrum team; conduct strategy and design workshops;
- You will play active role in alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners and Developers.
- Collaborate with Senior & Enterprise Architects to ensure that solution design has been fully considered for functional, integration, capacity, performance, infrastructure and support implications
- Enforce common architecture standards & processes to establish metrics and delivery consistent with product & business outcomes and code reuse principles
- Engage in design reviews to provide recommendations and incorporate technical, security and content/documentation considerations
- Lead analysis of technology, industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise architecture
- Gather and analyze data and develops architectural requirements at project level.
- Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
- Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

- Lead the Enterprise Architecture governance model.
- Coach and mentor team members.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- 6-8 years of Strong hands on Experience in Designing and building custom functionalities and bolt on capabilities on Apttus CPQ/CLM and SFDC eco system.
- Hands on experience as a software developer with thorough understanding of advanced SFDC coding standards, Salesforce Apex, Visual Force, LWC and comfortable with both Apttus CPQ/SFDC configuration & Customizations
- Education - bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent

- Familiarity working in Agile/Iterative development environment
- Knowledge of Performance Testing principles, processes and procedures
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed, global organization and be able to drive value through building relationships at all levels of the various businesses.
- Experience of leading teams using Agile delivery framework
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
- Contributes to creative solutions and challenges the status quo
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
- Proactively learns new tools and identifies opportunities for improvement and Promotes their adoption
- Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level
- Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.
