**Expro Group **are currently recruiting for a Buyer ( Capex Expeditor) to join the Group Supply Chain team based in Hyderabad.

**Overall Purpose of the Job**:
The Buyer ensures items or services are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered upon agreed terms and conditions seeking maximum value for the company including agreed time and cost.

**Key Activities and Accountabilities**:
1. Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.

2. Communicate regularly with suppliers to expedite orders, confirm shipment details, and resolve delivery issues.

3. Update internal teams and stakeholders on delivery schedules, delays, or disruptions.

4. Work closely with the procurement and supply chain teams to align delivery schedules with production/project needs.

5. Identify potential delays in the supply chain and take proactive steps to mitigate risks.

6. Maintain accurate records of supplier performance and delivery timelines in SAP

7. Collaborate with the logistics team to track shipments and resolve transportation issues.

8. Coordinate the return of defective or incorrect materials to suppliers.

9. Assist in maintaining and updating procurement databases, including supplier information and order tracking.

10. Support the procurement department with additional tasks, such as issuing purchase orders, processing invoices, and reviewing contracts.

**Job Knowledge and Qualifications**:
5 years experience within a buying/materials environment

Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word) and MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Previous experience of supplier evaluation, purchase order drafting, negotiation
