**Job Description: Female School Counselor - International Admissions**

**Organization**: Jain International Residential School (JIRS)
**Location**: Bangalore, India (with international travel as required)
**Work Schedule**: Monday to Saturday

**Role Overview**

Jain International Residential School (JIRS) is seeking a dynamic and empathetic **Female School Counselor** to manage **International Admissions**. The role involves engaging with prospective parents and students, guiding them through the admission process, and representing the school in international markets when required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Admissions Counseling**:

- Provide detailed information about JIRS, including academic programs, facilities, extracurricular activities, and boarding options.
- Address queries and concerns from parents to build trust and ensure a smooth admission process.
- **Lead Management**:

- Maintain a database of international leads and ensure timely follow-ups.
- **Travel and Representation**:

- Travel to target countries as required to meet prospective parents, attend education fairs, or partner with consultants.
- Represent JIRS at international events to promote the school’s offerings.
- **Coordination**:

- Collaborate with other departments (academic, boarding, and finance) to provide accurate information to parents.
- **Relationship Building**:

- Develop strong relationships with international education consultants and agents.
- Build rapport with parents to ensure a positive experience from inquiry to enrollment.
- **Reporting**:

- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Analyze trends and suggest strategies to improve international admissions.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree or more
- **Experience**:

- Experience in handling admissions is a plus.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- **Travel Readiness**: Willingness to travel internationally as required.
