ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate in preparing the environment, health and safety policy and plan.
2. Support in nominating members on HSE committee.
3. Informing all the concerned staff & drivers for the rules & responsibilities, HSE policy & objectives.
4. Prepare HSE training plan, Tool box meetings (TBM) for drivers & staff, conduct theses trainings through internal/external trainers and monitor on regular basis for 100% compliance.
5. Formulate Safety, Health and Environmental Teams and conduct safety meetings at defined frequency.
6. Conducting risk assessment for non-routine activities and critical task analysis for routine activities. Maintain and update the records of the same.
7. Ensuring management of change is followed properly to ensure safe operations.
8. Conduct various HSE programs, awareness campaigns, competitions to enhance the safety culture of the company.
9. Prepare mockdrill calendar and conduct the same as per schedule to improve the emergency preparedness.
10. Compile and share non compliances and initiate corrective action in consultation with departmental heads.
11. Ensure staff & driver recruitments are in line with the customer & company HSE requirements.
12. Maintain the upkeep of the fire fighting system of the office and vehicle.
13. Carry out driving violation analysis and prepare driver improvement plan (DIP) based on the analysis in co-ordination with driver mentor.
14. Motivate staff & drivers to report Deviation/ Nearmiss/ Potential Incident/ Incident/ Accident (if any). Conduct the investigation /analysis of the same and prepare corresponding action plan to avoid the repetition in such cases
15. Tracking HSE Key performance indicators (KPIs) and update the same to management on monthly basis.
