
Area Sales Executive

The Area Sales Executive is responsible for managing and growing sales of solar power solutions within a specific geographic region or territory. The key responsibilities include:
Territory Management:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to effectively promote and sell solar power systems in the assigned territory.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities for solar power adoption.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including residential, commercial, and industrial clients, to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Prospect for new customers and opportunities within the territory, focusing on both individual homeowners and commercial/industrial entities.
Sales Execution:
Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and presentations to potential customers, highlighting the benefits of solar power solutions.
Educate customers on the technical aspects, financial incentives, and environmental benefits of solar power systems.
Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring that all contractual terms and conditions are met, including financing and installation arrangements.
Manage the sales pipeline and provide regular updates on sales forecasts and activity.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional activities, such as local events and community outreach programs.
Performance Management:
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals for the solar power segment within the territory.
Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and new growth opportunities.
Provide feedback and recommendations to the sales management team on market trends, customer needs, and potential strategies to expand the solar power customer base.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry certifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales or account management role, preferably in the renewable energy or solar power industry.
Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the solar power or related industry.
Strong technical understanding of solar power technologies, system design, and installation.
Excellent customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
Proficient in using sales CRM software, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
