Skill and Competancy requirements - Detailed knowledge of Legislative and Regulatory Requirements like OBD I, OBD II, EOBD, etc. - Experience of automotive communication and Diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, KWP200, UDS etc) - Knowledge of ODX Process, Method and Tools - Usage of communication tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, Indigo, V Flash, CAN DIVA etc) and diagnostic tools (ODX Authoring tools, Diagnostic test case generators and Vehicle diagnostic tools) from Vector, In2soft and Softing. - Basic knowledge of System DFMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Functional Safety - "o Working knowledge of the system and functionality in power-train, chassis, body and infotainment domains, vehicle E&E architecture, function partitioning, design, testing and integration. - Experience in vehicle instrumentation for data logging and analysis - Job Description - Define Generic, ECU specific Diagnostic specifications & EOL requirements, SW Download specification, ECU Fault Management specification, ECU specific DTC & DID List, etc - Lead the team in development, delivery and deplyment of ECU specific on-board diagnostics, EOL and Off board requirements for all new ECU developments in power-train, chassis and other domains - Study product plans/ Tech roadmaps/ regulations and benchmarking strategies for Disgnostics.
