Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP)

Reports To: Pastry Sous Chef / Head Pastry Chef

Job Summary:
Responsible for managing a specific section of the pastry kitchen, ensuring consistent quality, training junior staff, and maintaining hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations in the assigned pastry section.

Ensure mise-en-place and timely execution of desserts, breads, and pastries.

Monitor consistency and quality according to the menu and standards.

Train and guide DCDPs and Commis in techniques and recipe adherence.

Maintain inventory, reduce wastage, and ensure cost control.

Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

**Requirements**:
Minimum 3-5 years of pastry experience in a 4/5-star kitchen.

Strong foundation in classic and modern pastry techniques.

Good leadership and communication skills.

HACCP or equivalent hygiene certification preferred.

2. Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) - Pastry

Reports To: Pastry Chef de Partie

Job Summary:
Assist the CDP in the assigned section of the pastry kitchen, execute preparations, and maintain the quality of production.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation and presentation of bakery and pastry items.

Maintain mise-en-place and freshness of ingredients.

Follow standard recipes and portion sizes.

Support CDP in maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Help monitor inventory and report needs to supervisor.

**Requirements**:
1-2 years experience in pastry or bakery kitchen.

Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and baking.

Ability to follow directions and work in a team.

Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

3. Commis - Pastry

Reports To: DCDP / CDP

Job Summary:
Entry-level role responsible for assisting with basic preparation, cleaning, and learning pastry operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with ingredient preparation, basic baking tasks, and plating.

Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment.

Follow instructions from seniors and uphold hygiene standards.

Learn recipes, techniques, and kitchen operations.

**Requirements**:
Diploma or certificate in bakery/pastry or hospitality preferred.

Strong interest in pastry and bakery work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
