**Job Title**: Indian DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie)

**Location**: Peninsula Redpine Hotel, Andheri East, Mumbai
**Department**: Kitchen - Indian Cuisine

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes (North & South Indian preferred).
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes served.
- Assist the CDP in managing mise-en-place and service preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section as per HACCP and hotel standards.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the senior chef.
- Ensure food is stored and handled correctly to avoid spoilage or contamination.
- Follow all kitchen SOPs and safety protocols.
- Support junior kitchen staff with training and guidance.
- Assist during buffets, banquets, or special theme nights if required.
- Cooperate with other departments (like service) to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Commis I or DCDP in a reputed hotel or restaurant.
- Specialized knowledge in Indian cuisine (Tandoor, Curry, Regional specialties).
- Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards in kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn and grow.
- Flexible with work hours, shifts, and weekends.
