**Job Overview**: OYE KAKE, a premier fine-dining destination renowned for its authentic Indian cuisine with a modern flair, is looking for a dedicated **Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)** to join its Indian kitchen team. The DCDP will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and consistency of dishes, working under the supervision of the Chef de Partie and assisting in the daily operations of the Indian kitchen.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Assisting in Food Preparation & Cooking**: Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and cooking of a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, and other regional specialties.
- **Maintaining Consistency**: Ensure the consistency and quality of each dish according to OYE KAKE's high standards. Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines meticulously.
- **Managing Your Section**: Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., curry station, tandoor) during service, ensuring it is set up efficiently and prepared for busy service periods.
- **Inventory Control**: Assist in maintaining stock levels, check inventory, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Report any shortages or issues to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- **Training & Development**: Learn from and work closely with senior kitchen staff to improve culinary skills and techniques. Participate in training initiatives to enhance knowledge of Indian cuisine.
- **Hygiene & Safety**: Ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards in the kitchen. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper use of kitchen equipment.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work effectively with the kitchen team, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation during service to provide a seamless dining experience.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor the quality of the food being prepared, ensuring it meets the restaurant’s standards in terms of taste, texture, and appearance.
- **Service Support**: Assist during peak service hours by ensuring dishes are prepared promptly and meet the quality expectations of guests.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
