**Job Overview**:
As a **Sales Associate**, you will be responsible for providing an excellent in-store experience to customers. Your role includes assisting shoppers in selecting outfits, managing billing and transactions, handling store operations, manage tailor instructions for customized designs, and ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment. You should have a keen interest in fashion, strong people skills, and a positive attitude towards customer service and sales.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Engagement & Sales**:
- Assist customers on the store floor, helping them select outfits based on their style, occasion, and budget.
- Provide professional, friendly, and personalized fashion advice.
- Ensure customers have a seamless shopping experience, including outfit trials and fittings.
- Promote in-house collections and guide customers toward suitable purchases to increase sales.
**Handling Custom Orders & Tailoring Coordination**:
- Understand customer preferences for **custom designs, fabrics, styles, and alterations**.
- Work closely with **tailors and designers** to ensure that custom pieces are made accurately according to the client’s specifications.
- Take **accurate measurements** and communicate them clearly to the tailoring team.
- Keep track of the **progress of custom orders** and provide updates to customers.
- Ensure **timely delivery** of customized garments and assist customers with final fittings.
- Manage **alterations and minor adjustments** to ensure the perfect fit for customers.
**Store & Operations Management**:
- Handle **billing and process transactions** accurately.
- Ensure the store is well-organized, visually appealing, and stocked appropriately.
- Maintain store cleanliness and arrange merchandise displays attractively.
- Assist in **inventory management and stock checks**.
- Support store activities, including **coordinating with tailors** for minor customizations or alterations.
**Fashion & Product Knowledge**:
- Stay updated with the latest **fashion trends, fabrics, and designs**.
- Communicate product details and fabric options effectively to customers.
- Provide suggestions on **accessories or complementary clothing items**.
Working 6 days a week, 1 day off. If you want to work part time, that option can be explored.
**Requirements**:
- 1+ year experience in a retail sales role or the fashion industry.
- Proficiency in English and Kannada to manage diverse customers effectively.
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Interest in Fashion and clothing industry especially women’s clothing.
- Knowledge of fashion trends, designers, and fabrics.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in fashion or a related field is a plus.
- A patient, calm demeanour and a keen ability to listen and adapt to client needs.
- Adaptable and able to solve problems effectively as per situations.
