Associate Urban Planner/ Urban Designer

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in preparing spatial plans, including land use, zoning, transportation, infrastructure, and community development plans.
- Conduct research and analyze data on demographics, land use, environmental sustainability, transportation, housing, and economic trends to inform planning decisions.
- Assisting in preparing viable and detailed action plans, implementation strategies, financial plans, and project phases for the proposals/projects/interventions.
- Facilitate recording of proceedings at various stakeholder meetings and workshops organized as part of the project.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other mapping tools to analyze spatial data, create maps, and visualize planning concepts.
- Prepare reports, planning documents, presentations, and other materials to communicate planning concepts and recommendations.
- Handling information requests, preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings
- Any other duty and responsibility assigned by the CUPP Team Lead/Center Head.

**Attributes**:

- Master’s degree in urban planning, urban design, or related fields.
- Experience in urban planning, development, policy analysis, urban design, land regulations, land pooling schemes, and brownfield development.
- Knowledge and awareness of current initiatives of the government in urban planning, design and development
- Showcase the ability to work well in multi-disciplinary small to medium-sized teams, balance multiple priorities, and work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Strong time management and coordination skills
- Ability to adapt to any process changes and comfortable working with people at all organisational levels.

**Experience**: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
