**Associate, Accounting (Employee Expenses)**

**Job Summary**

We are currently looking for an Associate, Accounting to join our Employee Expenses (Accounts Payable) team. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with relevant experience of reviewing and processing employee expenses in line with company policy, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. This role will report to the Director, Accounting and will focus primarily on facilitating the Employee Expenses process. This individual should be confident in their ability to work independently as well as in a group setting within a multi-office environment. The Associate, Accounting will also support the Accounting department by contributing to the accurate and timely reporting of financial results to our internal and external stakeholders. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Review employee expense submissions.
- Interact and communicate with employees, including oversees employees, in a professional manner.
- Process employee expense reimbursements.
- Accounting / coding of employee expenses.
- Assist in month-end closing and expense accrual process.
- Respond to inquiries from Accounts Payable and management.
- Handling of other projects as assigned from time to time.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce.
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience.
- Self-starter, organized and detail-oriented.
- Customer service experience would be an added advantage.
- Ability to multi-task, solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and payment-related systems.
- Good command on written and oral English communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- SAP Concur Expense System experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data analytic and reporting tools is an advantage.
