**General Accountabilities**:

- Provides advanced support in the areas of problem identification and resolution.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare/check/review monthly / quarterly journal entries for posting
- Ensure that daily, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reconciliations are performed to ensure accuracy of reported numbers and ensure that appropriate controls in the financial accounting and reporting process are applied
- Ensure risks and issues in processes are identified, reported and escalated as appropriately as required
- Ensure that service is being provided in timely manner with quality standards, especially during the month end close periods

**Qualifications**:

- Reasoning skills, analytical ability and decision-making skills with sound judgment plays a vital role to work in this process.
- Experience in Financial accounting, reporting and reconciliations of financial data
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and adhere to the quality standard
- Proficiency in MS Excel (knowledge of pivot tables and vlookups is a must)
- Resource must have good verbal and written communication skills to exchange information with client.
- Good keyboard skills - needs to be able to toggle between many screens with speed and needs to be able to type with speed and accuracy.
- Prefer knowledge of PeopleSoft.
- Self-starter with an ability to work in a team environment.
