We are looking for a results-driven **Business Development Manager (BDM)** to join our growing team. As a BDM, you will be responsible for driving new business, building relationships with key decision-makers, and expanding our market share in the cybersecurity space. You will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, understanding customer needs, and positioning our cybersecurity solutions to meet those needs effectively.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **New Business Acquisition**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on firewall and cybersecurity solutions for businesses across various sectors.
- **Sales Strategy Development**: Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in the cybersecurity sector.
- **Client Engagement**: Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, IT Directors, and security officers.
- **Product Knowledge**: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cybersecurity technologies, including firewall solutions, threat detection, endpoint security, and cloud security.
- **Proposal Creation**: Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations to potential clients, outlining our solutions and their benefits.
- **Partnership Building**: Forge strategic partnerships with vendors, resellers, and other stakeholders to expand our reach in the market.
- **Market Analysis**: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the marketing, technical, and product teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- **CRM Management**: Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales forecasts.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales in the IT, cybersecurity, or networking industry. Experience with firewall and cybersecurity solutions is highly preferred.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of an organization.
- **Networking and Relationship Building**: Proven ability to build strong client relationships and network with industry professionals.
- **Sales Acumen**: Strong understanding of sales processes and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to understand client pain points and provide tailored solutions that meet their security needs.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+) are a plus but not mandatory.
**Skills**:
- Knowledge of cybersecurity products (firewall, SIEM, threat intelligence, etc.)
- Ability to handle complex sales cycles and close high-value deals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of self-motivation and drive to meet sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
