Public Relations (PR) Executive

**AOW**:Corporate & Public Affairs / Corporate Communications

**Reporting To**

Head - Corporate Affairs / Managing Director / CEO

**Job Purpose**

To develop and implement effective communication and public relations strategies that build, protect, and enhance the company’s reputation in the manufacturing sector, while ensuring positive stakeholder relationships and brand visibility at the national and international levels.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Corporate Communications & Branding**
- Develop and execute PR campaigns aligned with company goals.
- Ensure consistent corporate branding across press releases, media coverage, social media, and public events.
- Draft speeches, press notes, newsletters, and internal communication for leadership.

**Media & Stakeholder Relations**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media (print, digital, TV, trade publications).
- Manage press conferences, product launches, plant inaugurations, and industry events.
- Liaise with government bodies, industry associations (CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, etc.), and chamber of commerce for representation.

**Reputation**:

- Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor PR activities.
- Maintain the company’s positive image through proactive communication.

**CSR & Community Engagement**
- Develop and execute Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in line with CSR Act provisions in India.
- Manage partnerships with NGOs, local communities, and social development projects.
- Promote sustainability and community development programs.

**Digital & Internal Communications**
- Manage company’s online reputation across LinkedIn, Twitter, and industry portals.
- Oversee internal communication - employee newsletters, announcements, and recognition campaigns.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Media handling and networking skills.
- Problem-solving.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, export, compliance, and regulatory landscape.
- Strategic thinking and presentation skills.
- Digital PR, social media, and content marketing exposure.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelors / Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, PR, or Business Administration.
- 3-8 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably in a **manufacturing/industrial/FMCG/food processing** company.
- Experience in handling government liaison, media houses, and industry events.
