Role Overview
We are looking for a confident, articulate, and proactive Public Relations Officer (PRO) to be the face and voice of our organization. This role demands a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, shaping narratives, and amplifying brand reputation across media, events, and public platforms. If you're someone who writes with flair, communicates with conviction, and commands a room with ease, we'd love to meet you.
As a PRO, you will serve as the key liaison between our brand and the public—handling media outreach, managing stakeholder engagement, coordinating high-visibility events, and ensuring consistent brand representation in all external communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and communicate powerful brand narratives across press releases, media pitches, speeches, feature articles, and other external communication formats.
- Build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media houses to secure meaningful coverage and enhance brand visibility.
- Own the brand's public-facing voice, ensuring alignment across interviews, event appearances, awards, recognitions, and speaking opportunities.
- Coordinate press interactions and media events, including briefings, interviews, press conferences, and coverage tracking.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, exhibitions, roundtables, and networking events—ensuring brand visibility and relationship-building with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Content, Design) to align messaging and media across campaigns and ensure cohesive storytelling.
- Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and industry developments to identify opportunities and preempt reputational risks.
- Support awards submissions, thought leadership content, and reputation-building initiatives across traditional and digital channels.
Preferred Profile
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or External Affairs.
- Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling and editorial finesse.
- Proven track record of media engagement and event coordination.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills; natural ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable with media monitoring tools, CRM systems, and content management platforms.
- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
