**Freelance EDI Assistant - Allscripts & Payerpath Expert (Support Role)**

**Description**:
Hi there,

I'm seeking a **reliable and experienced freelance assistant** who can **support me personally** — helping with day-to-day EDI tasks, **working under my name**, not directly as a company representative.

This is **not a full-time job or employment role** — it’s a freelance **contract-based support position** where you’ll be helping me manage responsibilities such as:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Resolve payer rejections and submission issues inside **Allscripts**.
- Set up and manage **payer setup, configurations**in **Payerpath and Allscript**.
- Troubleshoot clearinghouse and payer communication issues proactively.
- Assist with follow-ups, logs, and EDI escalations for multiple hospital clients.
- Create and manage **Excel-based reporting tools** to track EDI status, rejections, and trends.
- Draft internal notes, summaries, and task updates under my direction.
- Work **independently**, communicate clearly, and keep things moving with mínimal handholding.

**What I'm Looking For**:

- Minimum **3 years experience with Allscripts billing system** (preferably ER/hospital billing).
- Strong working knowledge of **Payerpath clearinghouse** and EDI workflows.
- Excellent **Excel skills** (Macros,VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, filters, formatting).
- Experience troubleshooting payer connectivity, enrollment, and rejections.
- Someone who is **trustworthy**, proactive, and understands how to **work behind the scenes**(confidentiality required).
- Solid written communication to help with logs, documentation, and updates.

**Project Details**:

- **Type**: Freelance, remote
- **Hours**: 9 am to 3 pm EST
- **Tools Provided**: Credentials/access will be provided securely once hired
- **Start Date**: Immediate
- **Location**: Open to all, but U.S. time zone availability is preferred
