**Introduction**:
The role requires sound understanding of Investment Banking Secondary Trading Business and financial markets (Fixed Income Securities in particular), good eye for detail and an ability to liaise with the Senior Business Managers, trading desks and Technology teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of critical business strategy inputs.

This role provides the opportunity to make a strong immediate contribution for applicants who are proactive, tenacious and eager to learn about multiple products and clients.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assisting the CIB Chief of Staff, in preparing and organising management business reviews and other management forums, including CIB management meetings
- Analysing benchmarking intelligence, to assess relative performance, versus peers and opportunities for growth
- Run key initiatives for CIB business and provide strategic solutions for complex business problems
- Running standard management processes for the CIB Chief of Staff Office & proactively flag and execute on opportunities, for improvement and optimisation
- Producing data analysis and writing reports, including draft presentations for use by the Head of CIB, to assist in executive governing and management forums
- Drafting briefing materials for the Head of CIB ahead of meetings, with Board members, senior management, direct reports, infrastructure partners, regulators and clients
- Producing presentations and talking points to support the Head of CIB in regular colleague communications, including Town Halls and all-colleague calls
- Owning and continuously improving action trackers and business performance scorecards
- Drive the optimisation and automation of any databases and standardised reports

**What we’re looking for**:

- 5+ years of strategy consulting experience with Consulting firms
- Experience of analysing Competitor benchmarking results and providing actionable insights
- Advance knowledge of Investment Banking, their risk factors, Performance matrix and valuation
- Expert in PowerPoint presentations, writing reports and designing storyboards
- Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
- Good at Senior stakeholder engagement
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Good MS Excel knowledge including VBA
- Aptitude for self-learning - Should be able to demonstrate a self-starting attitude
- Proactive in nature. Should be able to take decisions and support those.
- Programming skills/ exposure to Qlikview and Tableau
