**Job Description: Government E-Marketplace Professional**

**Job Title**: Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Officer
**Location**: Butibori,Nagpur HQ
**Experience**:1-3 years preferred
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**About the Role**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Manage **end-to-end operations on the GeM portal**, including product uploading, catalog management, bid participation, and order processing.
- Track and respond to relevant **government tenders and bids** related to modular furniture.
- Ensure **timely registration, renewal, and compliance** with all government procurement norms and documentation.
- Regularly **update product listings, prices, and specifications** as per company offerings and market trends.
- Collaborate with the **Sales, Production, and Logistics** teams to ensure accurate bid submissions and timely order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with **government departments and procurement officers** to understand requirements and promote Spacewood's offerings.
- Analyze **competitor activity** and pricing trends on the GeM portal.
- Generate regular **reports on performance, sales, bid status, and pipeline** of government orders.
- Ensure **audit readiness and document maintenance** as per GeM regulations.
- Stay up to date with **policy changes, new features**, and best practices on the GeM platform.

**Skills Required**:

- Hands-on experience with the **GeM portal** and government tendering process.
- Strong understanding of **government procurement policies and compliance requirements**.
- Excellent **coordination and communication skills** to work across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Proficient in **MS Excel, Word, and documentation tools**.
- Ability to analyze tender documents, identify key criteria, and prepare accurate proposals.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- **Problem-solving mindset** and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the **modular furniture industry** is an added advantage.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in **Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Commerce**.
- Minimum **1-3 years of experience** in handling GeM operations.
- Experience in a **manufacturing or B2G (Business to Government)** company preferred.
