**ob Purpose** - To work with the Corporate FX Sales team in India, providing a complete foreign exchange advisory and flow derivatives service to a portfolio of clients - Expected to enhance and develop relationships with the existing client base as well as build new contacts and prospects. - Back-up for other team members. **Key responsibilities**: - Independent coverage of a portfolio of allocated clients in all aspects of the foreign exchange business. - Proactive attitude towards all client relationships. - Advising corporate clients on market / execution / e-FX related opportunities and solutions. - Assisting clients on non-market risk management challenges, for example, balance sheet, cash-flow/earnings risk analysis and strategic, episodic driven hedging discussions. - Develop a deep and broad personal “trusted advisor” relationship with all primary and team clients, aiming to a foster a strong relationship with key top-level decision makers. - Enhance technical product knowledge. - Identify business opportunities and drive initiatives with focus on delivery - Act in the best ethical way and in line with Citi’s Policies and Standards. **Knowledge/ experience**: - 8 - 12 years of experience with a bachelors/university experience - Experience advising on foreign exchange, currency derivative, or financial markets sales with a investment, commercial bank or similar. - Experience in this or a related role. - Broad knowledge of currency options, derivatives and e-solutions for FX. - Good knowledge of the overall client / bank relationship. **Competencies**: - Strong interpersonal skills. - Analytical and methodical self-starter. - Creative and innovative thinker. - Good understanding of financial markets and the industry. - Understanding of macro-economics and the interdependencies of asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Foreign Exchange) will be an advantage. - Several years of experience in a markets or banking sales / coverage role This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
