**Introduction**:
The purpose of this role is to support the Global FX Rates Strategy team with a focus on APAC by gathering relevant data and performing analysis in an efficient and timely manner to help come up with a differentiated viewpoint for our clients

**What will you be doing?**

The main duties of the job will be composed of the following:
- Gathering and organizing data meaningfully to analyze and evaluate trends for relevant asset class
- Building or Updating various databases and models maintained by the team
- Analyzing and evaluating trends of various macro economic variables that are likely to impact rates and FX
- Assist in the writing of research reports, focused on Rates and FX within the specified market segment, as well as broader team initiative
- Keeping track of relevant news reports on major markets
- Generating files/analyses for client requests
- Summarizing our latest views and insights into marketing presentations for the senior analyst’s client meetings

**What we’re looking for**:

- Good quantitative skills preferred, especially in relation to econometric modeling
- Experience and understanding of FX and/or Rates markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated
- Demonstrated ability to work in a time sensitive environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Initiative/self motivation - act on own initiative, identify opportunities and be proactive in putting forward ideas and solutions

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Masters degree from premier institutes (preferably with a background in Economics) or any other equivalent degree with relevant 1-2 years of experience
- CFA (desirable)
- Good writing skills
- Relevant FX/Rates research experience (desired)
